Confident and Uniquely ME! is a book that empowers kids how to stand up for themselves from bullies and people who are just MEAN. As a former School Counselor I spent a lot of my time encouraging student to embrace their unique qualities that they were born with. It starts with loving yourself because that is the only opinion that really matters. My favorite line in the book is “Do I look different, Yes indeed, but being different doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing”. Often times kids think that being different or having a different skin color is bad but in reality it’s what makes them unique.
